Six weeks celebrating truffle season in Istria — Motovun at the heart of truffle country. Truffle hunts with lagotto romagnolo dogs in forests above the Mirna river, truffle-menu tastings in traditional konobas (Zigante, Barbacan, Enosophie), cooking workshops. Guinness record holder: 1.31 kg white truffle by Giancarlo Zigante 1999 — the world's largest at the time.
